about

The Memetic boys made a sneery, obnoxious and bitter return to the record racks when they coughed up a full 12" release for Bloody Fist in early 1997. Conceived and programmed in utter defiance and with an open contempt for everything else that was taking place in the wider music world at the time - both locally and internationally. Noisy, chaotic, lo-fi, belligerent, provocative and above all else - PUNK AS FUCK. It also contains probably the greatest 'final 4 seconds' of any release in the entire BF back catalogue. The measly $300 advance paid on the 12" was intended to be used by the Memetic boys to buy a secondhand fridge for their rented house, which at the time featured a hallway knee-deep in junk mail and a kitchen that smelt like rotten milk.

Released March 1997 as a grey vinyl 12" with the labels on the wrong sides.
Accidentally repressed soon after on black vinyl (still with the labels on the wrong sides).
