The Deathtrap album, as well as containing much new material, also featured a few highlights from Syndicate's ever-expanding back catalogue of work. Three tracks that appeared on the cassette were also on their recently released FIST12 12”, alongside a version of one of Gavin's speedcore tracks 'The Psycho' that had previously been released on the Juncalor Records 'One Of The Fisters' 12” the previous year. Two disparate-styled tracks from their classic '96 FIST06 2x12” made it on to Deathtrap as well – Warren's 'Suicide' and Gav's 'Guerillas In The Mist'.
