about

Bloody Fist ended the most prolific year of its entire existence with a bang. This bang came in the form of a double 12" featuring various snippets of analogue synths behaving badly, grubby square-wave Amiga kick drums and finely chopped downsampled breakbeats. The tracks were all underpinned with vocal snippets stolen from mid-90s Australian radio/television - and far far removed from their various original contexts (which ranged from toothpaste advertisements all the way through to Sesame Street). Mr Lubinski was the man responsible for this whole mess, whilst also moonlighting as the most prolific third of Nasenbluten.

credits

released December 15, 1996

All tracks written and produced by Aaron Lubinski during 1995/96 in a room that stank like old lady - just up the hall from the Bloody Fist HQ in Elcho St, Hamilton (Newcastle). Most tracks were originally released on the 1995 Bloody Fist cassette 'Cluster Bombs' (FISTC-05). Highlights were culled, additions were made and realised on 2x12" just as 1996 was wheezing on its deathbed. The 2x12" release was then resurrected, remastered and repressed with new artwork during the second half of 2004. Equipment used in the original production included an Amiga 600, Jupiter 6, Roland System 100 and a Realistic MG-1 - alongside various effects units, television, radio and a few bongs for good measure.
